THE PROJECT: In December 2023, In December 2023, Catalyst Development Partners broke ground on a new, 228-unit, Class A three story garden style apartment community located just off SR 200 in a highly desirable location in central Ocala. The exterior and interior design plans for this project will complement construction styles exhibited at The Baldwin, yet with a leaning toward rustic elegance.

THE CATALYST: With rapidly increasing demand in Ocala, Catalyst designed this product to meet the growing needs of rental population in the area. When naming this project, it was integral to create an association with the thriving equestrian industry in Ocala with contemporary appeal. Market trends and comps were reviewed to consider how we set this project apart from other multi-family lease-ups and Ocala comps in the pipeline. The Darley by definition is a modern Arabian Thoroughbred horse that displays strong lines and elegance. Our proposed development, will similarly exhibit modern and ahead of trend features and amenities in the Ocala market with a sense of dependability, luxury and comfort.

The Darley will offer one, two and three-bedroom apartment homes ranging from 701 to 1,347 square feet of living space, with smart home technology features. Interior finishes include gourmet kitchens with granite counters, table-sized islands, stainless steel appliances, wood-grain flooring, walk-in showers and spacious closets. Each home includes full-size washers and dryers and all units feature patios or balconies.

The community will offer residents high-end amenities, including a 24-hour Fitness Club with interactive cardio equipment and high intensity interval training (HIIT) equipment; comfortable co-working spaces for collaborative meetings; community-wide WiFi and a grand clubhouse. Outdoor resident amenities feature a gorgeous resort style pool; Summer kitchen with gas grill stations, pub-style dining areas; semi-private cabanas with garden daybeds; and outdoor entertainment retreats. As a pet-friendly community, The Darley will include a full service dog-spa and an enclosed dog park.

PROJECTED RESULTS: Located at 4535 SW 54th Street Rd. | Ocala, FL 34474, The Darley is located just off SW College Street Rd, just minutes off I-75/Exit 350. The Darley is scheduled to begin pre-leasing in earloy 2025 with first resident move-ins anticipated in Spring 2025.
